Tai Shlomi

Music Teacher

Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano, Voice

Tai Shlomi is a multi instrumentalist who teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, and introductory voice. She began piano at age 11 and quickly found her true musical home with the guitar, inspired by a deep love of rock music. Since then, she has built experience performing and recording through solo work and multiple bands, contributing as a lead guitarist and vocalist while pursuing her own original music career.

Tai creates a positive, supportive lesson environment where students feel encouraged to explore and enjoy the learning process. She believes progress comes most naturally when lessons balance strong musical foundations with the styles and songs each student loves. Drawing from her own nonlinear musical journey, Tai meets students where they are and adapts her teaching to their pace, interests, and goals, helping them build confidence and long term motivation.

Outside the studio, Tai enjoys discovering new music through concerts and record stores, with favorites ranging from rock and blues to alternative and grunge. She is also a black belt in martial arts and brings that same curiosity and perseverance into her teaching. When she is not making music, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, photography, and reading and writing.
