Samantha Gregory is a classically trained musician with a deep passion for exploring the wide world of music. She began piano lessons at the age of five after showing early interest in her grandfather’s upright piano. At 12, she was already volunteering as a church accompanist and had taken up the organ and trumpet. Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in organ performance and has composed works performed at universities across the country for both small and large ensembles. Her experiences as a performer and composer have taken her around the globe, including Morocco, London, New York, and beyond.
In lessons, Samantha believes in creating a safe, encouraging space where students feel heard and supported. She tailors her approach to the unique needs of each individual, understanding that what works for one student may not work for another. Her teaching emphasizes open communication, allowing students to feel empowered in their learning while developing the discipline and resilience needed for long-term success. Samantha's goal is to help students push through challenges and reconnect with the joy that comes from making music.
Samantha brings both expertise and creative curiosity to her teaching. She's a three-time champion of the GISA piano competition and received a full academic scholarship to Mercer University for organ studies. She is also an award-winning composer and active member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). Outside of music, Samantha enjoys writing, visual arts like drawing and painting, and rollerblading. Whether diving into early Baroque, tango, or jungle music, she’s always eager to explore and share new sounds with her students.
