Romona Smith

Voice & Piano

A classically trained pianist, Romona Smith holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Columbus State University and a Master of Music in Music Education from Georgia State University. She has taught general music, chorus, piano, and voice throughout the metro Atlanta area and has served as a church musician and worship team member. Romona is also a member of The SeeiT Choir, performing at events including Super Bowl 2019 and the grand opening of Tyler Perry Studios, and has shared the stage with artists such as Stevie Wonder and John Legend.

Romona believes every student has unique potential and strives to help them recognize it in themselves. Her lessons balance encouragement and challenge, creating a space where students feel seen, build confidence, nurture creativity, and develop a lasting love for music. Whether a student is just beginning or ready to stretch their skills, Romona meets them where they are and encourages them to grow.

Romona’s playlist spans contemporary Christian music, gospel, old-school R&B, Broadway show tunes, and '80s pop, with plenty of Christmas music during the holidays. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, spa days, and discovering new brunch spots. A fun fact: Romona has performed at the Super Bowl twice, including the 2000 pre-game show featuring Tina Turner and Super Bowl festivities in 2019.
