Rachel LaRocca

Music Teacher

Violin, Viola, Voice, Piano, Guitar, and Cello

Rachel LaRocca discovered her love for music through church, family, and early piano lessons before finding her true passion in the violin. She went on to perform as a leader in youth orchestras, serve on a mission trip teaching music and English in Honduras, and study Music Education at Kennesaw State University. Along the way, she gained experience on violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar, and a variety of band instruments, and performed with the KSU Symphony Orchestra while studying under Atlanta Symphony Orchestra violinist Kenn Wagner.

Rachel's teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student's individual goals and experience level. She believes music is about more than perfection. It is about growth, self discipline, creativity, and learning to share something meaningful with others. Her lessons balance strong fundamentals, technique, and music theory with an emphasis on building confidence, consistency, and a lifelong love of music.

Rachel loves music that tells a story, from powerful ballads to energetic EDM. When she's not teaching, you'll often find her enjoying the fall weather around a campfire, playing video games, or spending time outdoors. She brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of learning to every lesson she teaches.
