Monique Osorio

Music Teacher

Voice and Piano

Monique Osorio has been making music for most of her life, beginning with piano in childhood and later studying Music Composition and Psychology at the University of Georgia. While there, she performed classical piano recitals and immersed herself in choral singing. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Vocal Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre and is certified in Somatic Voicework, and she also serves as an Education Programs Assistant and Teaching Artist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Monique creates lessons that feel warm, supportive, and rooted in curiosity. She tailors her teaching to each student’s unique learning style, whether working with young beginners or adults reconnecting with their voice. Her goal is to help students build confidence, trust their instincts, and feel proud of their musical growth.

A vocalist, composer, pianist, and educator, Monique loves music of all kinds, from early and classical works to jazz and experimental sounds. She believes deep listening is at the heart of both meaningful music making and strong communities. Outside of teaching and performing, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her very large and very adorable tuxedo cat.
