
Lucy Christie is a vocalist, pianist, and musical theatre artist who began singing and dancing at age 3, continuing her passion for performance through school productions and community theatre. She earned her degree in Musical Theatre from Birmingham-Southern College and completed an Acting internship at Actor’s Express in Atlanta. With a background spanning theatre, voice, piano, and early childhood education, Lucy brings a diverse and creative approach to her teaching. She also served as an adjudicator for the Shuler Hensley Awards from 2016–2022.
Lucy believes lessons should be relaxed, encouraging, and full of joy. With her enthusiastic theatre background, she loves cheering on her students while helping them build strong foundations in technique, sight-reading, and musical confidence. Lucy balances positive encouragement with thoughtful feedback, empowering students to problem-solve independently and develop skills they can carry throughout their musical journey.
A lifelong Atlantan, Lucy enjoys spending time with her family, including her young son and two cats. She loves exploring new experiences, sharing her passion for the arts, and creating a welcoming environment where students feel supported, inspired, and excited to learn.
