Kasey Lohr

Kasey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Jacksonville State University in 2018. A classically trained pianist, she has been teaching with The Music Studio Atlanta for over seven years, specializing in piano instruction and the Harmony Explorers program. Through both performance and teaching, Kasey is passionate about sharing the joy and connection that music can bring to everyday life.

Kasey believes music should feel like a natural, joyful part of each student’s journey, not just another subject to master. Her lessons focus on building strong musical foundations through technique and theory while also developing confidence, patience, and the ability to truly listen and connect with music. She especially loves working with young beginners and creating a supportive environment where students can grow their skills and develop a lifelong love of music.

As the lead curriculum developer for Harmony Explorers, Kasey brings music to life for young learners through storytelling, creativity, and cultural exploration. She enjoys watching students grow from their very first lesson through each stage of their musical journey, celebrating their progress and continued love for music along the way.
