Jared Triggs is an accomplished musician and educator, celebrated with the Spirit Award and the Jim Ott Award from the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, and scholarships from the AbbVie CF Scholarship Program and Atlanta CV Drum and Bugle Corps for his skills on the ukulele and trumpet. He also plays in the instrumental rock band Frog Patrol. Jared's musical journey began at age eight when he started playing guitar by ear, and it flourished at Jacksonville State University where he earned a degree in Instrumental Music Education, playing in various bands and a men's choir.
Teaching with a positive and animated approach, Jared believes learning should be enjoyable and embraces the natural challenges of mastering an instrument. He has over five years of experience teaching students of all ages, in instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, clarinet, and all valved brass instruments up to collegiate levels. His teaching extends beyond private lessons to elementary music, band, choir, and marching band, where he is skilled at nurturing musical talent across all age groups. Whether celebrating small victories or encouraging persistent effort, Jared is dedicated to fostering a deep love for music in his students.
