Hailey Ezzell

Hailey Ezzell has been performing professionally since the age of 15, when she was contacted for a fill-in gig with a rock cover band. Since then, performance has remained her passion. She primarily plays piano and sings, while also playing several other instruments to varying degrees. A frequent concertgoer, Hailey loves attending live shows and using them as inspiration and research to continue growing as a performer. She was also selected to perform with the Florida All-State Choir four times, placed first in her school’s annual The Voice competition, and has performed her original music on radio and podcasts.

Hailey believes that anyone can be a musician if they are willing to try. She encourages students not to get caught up in the idea that they “can’t” play or sing, reminding them that while some things may come more easily to some people, it is never too late to get started. Her lessons focus on building a strong foundation in music theory and practical playing skills while giving students the freedom to learn the music they actually want to play.

Outside of music, Hailey loves 70s and 80s rock, especially Styx, and enjoys crafting and working with her hands in different mediums. She is also an avid reader and writer and published a novel a few years ago. Her creativity and love of learning extend well beyond music, bringing a fun and curious perspective to her teaching.
