Georgia Herrera

Music Teacher

Violin, Piano

Georgia Herrera is a classically trained musician with a lifelong connection to music, specializing in violin and piano. She began formal lessons at age six and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music at CUNY Queens College, followed by a Master’s degree in Audio Arts from Syracuse University. In addition to teaching, she works professionally as an audio engineer and producer and has performed with orchestras and ensembles in New York and New Orleans.

Georgia’s teaching approach centers on meeting each student where they are and nurturing confidence through music. Her lessons are supportive, creative, and encouraging, giving students the space to experiment, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace. She believes music is a powerful tool for self expression and personal development, and she strives to help students become both strong musicians and confident individuals.

Outside the studio, Georgia enjoys listening to a wide range of music including RnB, pop, classical, jazz, Broadway, and anime soundtracks. She loves crafting, attending live performances, watching basketball, and spending time with animals, and brings that same sense of curiosity and joy into every lesson she teaches.
