Emma Johnson

Music Teacer

Emma offers expertise in voice, piano, and ukulele, with a musical journey spanning over a decade. Beginning her vocal training at the age of 11 and branching out to piano and ukulele at 15, Emma has dedicated 13 years to music, developing a rich background that includes choir from middle school to Georgia State University, where she's earning her Bachelor's in Music Education and aims for a Master's in Vocal Performance. While proficient in piano and ukulele, her primary passion lies in vocal instruction, where she can guide students from novice to advanced levels.

With an affinity for indie-pop, pop-punk, and classical opera, Emma's teaching style is as diverse as her musical tastes. She infuses lessons with enjoyment and believes in progressing at a comfortable pace for her students, emphasizing that challenges in music are opportunities for growth. Emma brings empathy and understanding to her lessons, informed by her own experiences with ADHD and teaching a student with autism, ensuring a supportive and pressure-free environment. Whether it's fostering beginners in piano and ukulele or nurturing voices across all skill levels, Emma’s approach is always patient, adaptive, and encouraging.
