Elizabeth’s musical journey began with violin, followed by clarinet and piano, and she discovered a love for singing and acting in elementary school. Her passion for the arts led her to study at Interlochen Arts Academy and Summer Camp, The Juilliard School, and Emory University. She has enjoyed working across music, acting, and storytelling, and is currently writing her first middle-grade novel. She loves showing students that being an artist doesn’t have to mean doing just one thing!
Elizabeth believes in the balance of fundamentals and fun. Building a strong foundation is essential, but lessons should also inspire curiosity, creativity, and excitement. Her goal is to help students develop solid technique while discovering the joy and freedom that come with making music.
A naturally curious person, Elizabeth loves learning about the world and can happily spend hours watching National Geographic. Outside of music, she enjoys tennis, painting, and discovering new things. She has been recognized with an ABRSM Teacher Award and as North Fulton School of Music’s 2021 Music Educator of the Year, and is affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs and Georgia Music Educators Association.
