Doug Coore

Doug is an educator first. His resume spans from touring with Grammy-nominated artists (Jamie Grace) to producing, recording, and engineering bands and solo artists of all genres in the Atlanta-based Opinium Recording Studios. If you asked him, he would tell you his greatest accomplishments have been watching the students he teaches blossom into musicians and young men and women of respect and confidence. A Georgia State School of Music alumni, Doug has over 20 years of experience as a music educator and in the music industry. His teaching experience includes working as a percussion instructor at Masters Christian Academy (K-12 private school in Decatur, GA) and his most recent work as a drum instructor at the award-winning Courtnay & Rowe Music Academy and The Music Studio Atlanta.
