Deevon Aird

Music Teacher

Violin and Viola

Deevon Aird is a classically trained violinist with over a decade of playing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from Kennesaw State University. His background includes extensive private study as well as university orchestra and chamber music performance. He also served as a counselor at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, where he assisted with student orchestras and provided lessons, further shaping his passion for working with students and supporting their musical growth.

Deevon believes that music is something anyone can learn with patience, discipline, and encouragement. He approaches teaching with the idea that musicianship begins when thoughtful practice meets genuine musical expression. In lessons, he focuses on building strong fundamentals, effective practice habits, and practical problem solving skills, all within a positive and supportive environment that helps students grow in both confidence and independence.

Outside of teaching, Deevon enjoys exploring a wide range of music, including classical, bossa nova, K pop, J pop, gospel, R and B, lo fi, and music from film, television, and video games. He also spends much of his time creating art, working in both traditional and digital mediums.
