Colby Blick

Music Teacher

Voice, Piano, Ukulele, and Guitar

Colby Blick is a versatile musician and educator who teaches voice, piano, ukulele, and guitar. Her musical journey began in 4th grade choir and has been singing ever since. Over time, she challenged herself to learn as many instruments as possible that allow for simultaneous singing and playing. Colby has performed extensively and is actively involved with organizations such as Top Hat Theatrics and CYT Atlanta. In 2019, she received the Excellence in Music award at the Junior Theater Festival.

In lessons, Colby focuses on music literacy, skill development, and most of all, building confidence. She believes music is not only an art form but also a valuable life tool, helping students grow in ways that extend far beyond the classroom. Whether a student is preparing for a school choir audition, aiming for All-State Chorus, or applying to a performing arts magnet program, Colby tailors each lesson to support those goals. She specializes in musical theater and classical techniques, which she often applies to pop styles like those of Olivia Rodrigo, and she emphasizes healthy vocal placement in every genre.

Outside of teaching, Colby is a passionate theater director and performer with a love for pop, indie, and jazz music. When she's not at the studio, you’ll likely find her at home with her two cats, Maxi and Sofie. Colby also works with students at Marietta High School, Prodigy Performing Arts, and Casa Montessori, offering expert audition preparation for vocalists at every level.
