With TMSA Since

Colby Blick has been singing since early childhood and joined her first choir at age nine, quickly becoming deeply involved in choral music throughout high school. In early adulthood, s expanded into piano, ukulele, and guitar, focusing on instruments that allow her to sing and play at the same time. Since 2018, she has been music directing theater productions and began teaching private lessons the same year, building a strong foundation in both performance and education. She has also studied toward a Music Education degree at Kennesaw State University and has been recognized at the Junior Theater Festival with Excellence in Music in 2019 and Excellence in Ensemble in 2021 and 2026.

Colby’s teaching approach focuses on growth, confidence, and enjoyment in every lesson. She works to meet students where they are, especially those who may feel shy about performing, and provides tools and support to help them feel comfortable and confident on stage. Music literacy is an important part of her instruction, particularly for students exploring multiple instruments. Her goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where students can build skills while discovering more about themselves through music.

Outside of teaching, Colby loves music in all its forms and works with students in one on one lessons as well as group settings including theater, choral, and instrumental programs. She is affiliated with Top Hat Theatrics, Marietta High School Theater, Casa Montessori, CYT Atlanta as past involvement, and Prodigy Performing Arts as past involvement. At home, she enjoys spending time with her cats and recharging in a quiet creative space.
