Cindy Weisbrod

Music Teacher

Piano and Voice

Cindy Weisbrod holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Church Music from Shenandoah University. She brings decades of experience performing and singing with church choirs, along with four years of directing choirs. Cindy enjoys playing a wide variety of musical styles and has also guided students in piano contests, helping them build both skill and confidence in performance. She is a Life Member of Sigma Alpha Iota and a former President of the Shenandoah Valley Chapter of the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs.

Cindy’s teaching approach begins with getting to know each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. She believes that when students enjoy their music, they are naturally motivated to practice and succeed. Her lessons are engaging and well rounded, combining fun with strong foundations in chord theory, sight reading, and performance skills. She encourages steady weekly progress while remaining open to all musical genres.

Music has always been Cindy’s passion, and she loves sharing that joy with students of all ages and levels. Outside of teaching, she enjoys photography and has a love for animals, including her German Shepherd. She has also lived in France, bringing a broad perspective and life experience into her teaching.
