Caroline Williams

Music Therapist

Caroline began playing piano at age eight and continued to explore new instruments over the years before earning her bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Georgia College & State University. While her primary instrument was voice, she also teaches piano, guitar, drumset, ukulele, and more. Caroline has a rich background in performance, with experience in theater, musicals, gigging, and recording. She is passionate about using music as both a creative and therapeutic tool.

Caroline specializes in adaptive music lessons and has extensive experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health and behavioral needs. She believes that everyone, regardless of age or ability, deserves a learning approach tailored to how they learn best. Her lessons focus on building rapport, setting meaningful goals, and using creative tools such as color-coded music, songwriting, rhythm games, and movement. Above all, she fosters a welcoming, joyful space where students feel safe and supported.

A creative and outgoing person, Caroline enjoys writing songs, dancing, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends. Her musical tastes range from folk-pop to funk and country. She is a board-certified music therapist and is in the process of becoming licensed in Georgia. Caroline has been recognized with the Excellence in Songwriting Award and the Music Therapy Society Award from GCSU. She is especially passionate about working with students with special needs but also enjoys teaching beginner and intermediate students of all ages.
