Bryanna Cali is a student at KSU for music education and a minor in religious studies. She intends to use her degree to teach a choir, hopefully in high school. She attended Governor’s Honors Program as a high school senior, where she was one of 32 singers in the state. She has been teaching private lessons for one year within a studio and has been teaching/directing in general for about five years. She was awarded The Bobbie Bailey Endowed Music Scholarship which is a very wonderful accomplishment. After she finishes her undergrad, she plans to get her masters and then possibly a PhD in music education. Her family is what inspires her in music. She has grown up with music all of her life and wants to have that “family” connection with everyone in her musical career. Music is a very powerful thing and the relationships it creates are very important. Her goal is to be able to inspire her students to find the same passion and connection to music that she has found.
