Brian is an accomplished musician and teacher at The Music Studio Atlanta: East Cobb with a deep-seated passion for music that began with piano lessons at the age of eight. His musical prowess expanded as he self-taught guitar, bass, and drums, skills he continues to hone and impart to students of all ages. Brian's involvement with music extends into the local scene, where he actively plays and records with several Atlanta-based bands. Notably, his contributions to the music community are recognized with his role as a voting member of the Atlanta chapter of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs).
Beyond his musical engagements, Brian's tastes are eclectic, with a preference for instrumental groove music and acoustic songwriting. His interests also extend to woodworking and enjoying the great outdoors. As an educator, his philosophy is centered on ensuring students have fun and make tangible progress in each lesson, using familiar songs to weave in music theory and adhering to each student's unique learning pace. Holding a degree in Speech Language Pathology, Brian also possesses five years of direct teaching experience with children on the autism spectrum, an expertise that informs his sensitive and adaptive teaching approach, especially at the intermediate level for bass, guitar, drums, and piano.
