Andrew Mullin

Music Teacher

Guitar, Voice, and Beginner Piano

Andrew Mullin is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer with a deep love for both music and problem-solving. He grew up singing hymns in church, picked up viola in 5th grade orchestra, and began teaching himself guitar at 13. Andrew holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and has since performed and toured across the United States, co-written an original musical in Philadelphia, and arranged music for worship ensembles. He’s been a semifinalist in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition, received multiple college talent scholarships, and continues to sharpen his skills through advanced guitar and jazz study.

Andrew’s teaching philosophy centers on the joy that emerges from hard work and creative exploration. He believes in taking the art seriously—but never taking yourself too seriously. His lessons focus on building strong musical foundations while encouraging curiosity, humility, and fun. Students can expect a supportive environment where they are free to experiment, make mistakes, and grow into confident, expressive musicians.

Now based in Atlanta, Andrew brings more than 10 years of experience in musical theatre and songwriting, including affiliations with the Vienna Light Orchestra, Freeway Music in Columbia, SC, and the Walnut Street Theatre apprenticeship program. He’s a composer and passionate fan of video game and film music, which inspires much of his own creative work. His favorite genres include folk and classic rock, and he’s always excited to help students explore their own musical tastes while developing a deeper understanding of music theory and performance.
