Renee Bloom is a classically trained voice teacher who loves to sing all styles and is passionate about how we learn. She received her bachelor of arts degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. She’s trained as an early childhood music specialist, and teaches as a registered Music Together Instructor here at the music studio for babies, toddlers and their families.

She has spent nearly a decade backstage at the opera house, including most recently at The Atlanta Opera as a stage manager.  She continues to study and keep up with the science of singing, the ways in which we make sounds including contemporary and musical theater, the science of motor learning, and the evolving changing voice from early childhood, to teenager years, to the adult years. She believes in student-led lessons, developing student’s agency for their own sounds, and to build on their knowledge of reading music and sight singing skills.
