Alvard Mayilyan

As a performing artist, professor, and early music educator, Ms. Alvard believes that “music education is THE key”. She has been teaching voice and piano in various studios and her private studio in NY for more than 10 years. She was also a lecturer of American Music - From Jazz to Hip-Hop course at Berkeley College NYC. After moving to the Metro Atlanta area, she joined the Atlanta Opera Chorus, and is currently a staff singer at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Mayilyan enjoys teaching young children, teens, and adults as well. She believes everyone is musically gifted, it is just a matter of when and how they discover it.

Ms. Mayilyan holds two Master’s degrees  in Music Performance and French language and Education.
