Joey Carroll is a versatile and multifaceted music teacher, known for his eclectic blend of classical training and a deep love for various genres like musical theatre, jazz, pop, and R&B. Joey's academic journey took him to Northwestern State University in Louisiana, where he earned a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Science in Theatre, further enriched by performance scholarships in both music and theatre.

With nearly a decade of experience performing on stages across the country, Joey brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his teaching. His skills extend beyond voice to include proficiency in guitar and piano, primarily in classical and jazz styles. As a seasoned performer, Joey's talents encompass singing, acting, and dancing. His creative spirit is also evident in his work as a singer/songwriter and playwright, underscoring his deep connection to music and the arts.

In his teaching, Joey emphasizes meeting students where they are, focusing on their needs and expressions.
